North River & Tellico River Watershed Outing – McNabb Campground

Group Leaders / Additional Information:

River Information

This trip allows access to several streams in the Tellico Plains area, including several smaller creeks, the BaldRiver and the bigger waters of the TellicoRiver (check the fishing regulations because they change from stream to stream, and some require a daily permit). The North River is not a tailwater, but rather wild like a mountain stream. As always, have a variety of flies handy in your fly box. But in particular, make sure you include the Tellico Nymph which originated in these waters, as the name implies.

Fishing Species

Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout and Brook Trout
