Every chance I had I looked for somewhere to fish growing up. Ocean, farm pond, creek… if it held water I tried to fish it. I was introduced to fly fishing in 2005 from a co-worker. Fly fishing offered a new challenge, one where the fisherman was always in motion and active. Fly fishing fascinates me from fly selection, cast, mend, drift, repeat, until you land the fish. There are many different moving pieces to fly fishing keeps me coming back to the water. I enjoy the challenge each water brings. Each body of water and every day is different. I love the challenge and learning to find and catch fish. Even a bad of fishing I take away a something new. A new water, what worked, what didn’t work, and the hope tomorrow will be better than today!
